Pink is a color that is rarely used for PC hardware, however over the last couple of months we spotted three manufacturers adopting pink designs for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and even an all-in-one cooling system. This week ASUS ROG has followed, and started sales of multiple gaming peripherals featuring pink with a grey color scheme.

The ASUS ROG PNK family of products includes the ROG Gladius II Origin PNK mouse, the ROG Sheath PNK mousepad, the ROG Strix Fusion 300 PNK headset, as well as the ROG Strix Flare PNK keyboard with Cherry’s MX Red or MX Brown switches. Instead of choosing bright pink color it once used for a ZenBook UX laptop, the company decided to go with rather soft accents of pink, which will be suitable for anyone interested.

Since we are dealing with ASUS ROG-branded hardware, all the products are equipped with addressable RGB LEDs that can be controlled using the company’s Aura software.

ASUS ROG’s PNK peripherals are currently available directly from ASUS in the USA for $39.99 (mouse pad), $99.99 (mouse/headset), and $179.99 (keyboard). All the products are marked as limited edition, so we do not expect wide availability.

    Those actually look very nice.

I think pink is easy to overdo to the point where it becomes just too pink. This attempt isn't overdone though and I agree that they do look good. Now if I could just find decent, fanless laptops in this sort of color scheme...

Can check out the Razer Blade Stealth 13 in base model. I don't know if it's fanless though. It's also all pink. The keys aren't gray or anything. Just a whole lot of pink.

I'm not normally for pink, but I like these! They look a lot better than many other "gaming" peripherals these days, with their abundance of very bright neon green/blue etc.

I actually like a more neon or fuschia color myself, at least as far as pink colors go. But its definitely nice to have options and ideally it'd be maybe a few. I think a fuschia with a stronger purple color (versus the gray-ish lavender that it looks like they have here).

I was thinking along the line os a nice purple glow that one would get from a "blacklight like" purple hue.

I very much like purple as my eye deal nicely with it, much more so than green/blue/brown certain shades, than again I am a guy, os native decent, and of the blue eyed variety (more prone color blind to blue/green or red/browns, I kind of have a mix of both those type... duetron and the other but if set for the 3rd type, things magically come alive to my eye bools :D

for example...Xigmatech XLF (crystal series clear fan, RGB light in the corners and speckles a nice purple black light esque color.. had 4 fans at one point. all were to my eye, identical in color presentation, unlike green - blue -white - red etc I have seen many times over, have to get many, to settle on a few of the "best"

    anywho.

agreed. a nice darker purple/candy like purple dark, but with a "candy" gloss type deal would be ok... darker to the purple yum yum.. like an excellent vintage a deep purpley black until drink it (like a blueberry appears the most blue when is near black, would say black berry, but no purple in there, egg plant not dark enough .. midnight I believe is almost the exact "shade"

I'm with the others, these are surprisingly classy looking. I would totally own one, and pink isn't a color I typically choose.

I can forgive the F1-F4 and F9-F12 keys being pink, but it's kinda ruined by the `~ and \| keys not being gray.

What is that tube on the upper left (on the media key row)? Is it just an odd volume knob, or is it a light tube? Maybe both?
